CIT Kokrajhar was born with an objective to usher excellence in technical and vocational education along with innovation, incubation, Research and Development. Since long time the lower part of Assam especially the BTAD region was not getting access to Centrally Funded Technical Institute which was very much needed in this part of the nation. To cope with the modern phase of life and economy, technical exposure is much required today and CITK is trying its best to facilitate with its capacity particularly in BTAD and Assam and nation as a whole. We feel proud to see the poor students from remote villages pursuing technical education at CITK which was just more than a dream for them. Thus, our next goal is now quality development in education and in skills which require commitment and devotion from all (students, teachers, administrations and guardians).

So, “Jaikhlong the spectrum” has come up with an objective to exhibit CITK’s dream and outcomes. “Jaikhlong” (which means rainbow) therefore appeals everyone to come together with all positive thoughts and energy to overcome our obstacles and succeed in our goal in attaining CITK at its highest peak.
